"Investing in Students" Initiative
The "Investing in Students" initiative invites members of the Truman community to assist students through annual support for the 2009-10 year.
Resources generated through this call for support will be directed to needy students during the year in which they are received. The full amount is channeled to students providing immediate impact.
Truman's Office of Financial Aid will administer the program. Students must file the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) form and complete an application form. Students demonstrating the greatest financial hardship will receive a special $1,000 award.
Your gift to the "Investing in Students" initiative can be directed to support:
- Grants (to be awarded to students with the greatest financial need)
- Student Loans (will provide loans for students with significant financial need and allow for fund sustainability)
- Service Stipend (will be awarded to students in return for service hours to the university)
